  15.       _R_l_e_t_o_a_s_c_i_i reads a file in _R_L_E(5) format, converts it    to
  16.       black    and white, then    dumps it as ASCII characters. The 0 to
  17.       255 range of pixel values in the image is scaled to the
  18.       length of _a_s_c_i_i_s_t_r and a the character at that position in
  19.       the string is    printed    for each pixel.     Input will be read
  20.       from _i_n_f_i_l_e if specified, from standard input, otherwise.
  21.       Output dumps to standard output, or _o_u_t_f_i_l_e, if specified.

  23.       Usually, the input will need to be resized by    _f_a_n_t(1)    or
  24.       _r_l_e_z_o_o_m(1) to    make it    small enough to    fit on the screen and
  25.       to adjust the    pixel aspect ratio to the "character aspect
  26.       ratio" of the    terminal.  To get it "right side up", use
  27.       _r_l_e_f_l_i_p(1) with the ----vvvv option.  Finally, it may be helpful
  28.       to maximize the dynamic range    with _r_l_e_s_p_i_f_f(1).
